Casa Antonia is a free standing wooden holiday chalet on the outskirts of Puntagorda village.
It is a cosy house with a warm feeling.
Casa Antonio has several terraces and a view over the barranco (ravine) towards the famous Dragon Tree of Puntagorda and the Atlantic Ocean.
The nearest neighbour is across the barranco.
The house is suitable for up to 3 persons, it is easy to find and has its own entrance and parking place.

Accommodation
Casa Antonio has a living room with open kitchen, an open staircase to a mezzanine floor with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. In the Living room is a comfortable sofa and coffee table and there is a cd player and TV with Spanish channels.

In the kitchen is a refrigerator, 2 ring electric hob, and espresso machine and water heater and a good assortment of kitchen equipment. There is a breakfast bar with barstools.

Kitchen	The mezzanine floor has a sofa-bed, cupboard and a view over the countryside. Casa Antonia has 2 bedrooms. In the double bedroom is a 140cm x 200cm double bed. There are cupboards and a mirror. In the 2nd bedroom is a 90cm x 200cm single bed and a cupboard. The bathroom has a shower, hand basin and WC.

Casa Antonia has an unheated swimming pool and several terraces on 3 sides of the house. There is garden furniture and sun beds. There is covered outside kitchen with barbecue. It has a work surface, a 4 hob gas stove, a barbecue and a table with chairs.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma. It is in the rural north-west of the island with 2100 inhabitants and is about 1.5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda village has various shops, 2 supermarkets, butcher, a dispensing chemist, doctor, dentist, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, library, Lnternet cafes and a public swimming pool (summer). On Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling fresh local farm produce including local wine, cheese, cigars, cakes and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied marked walking paths, view points, some old windmills and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground. The area above the village is covered in pine forests, the lower areas towards the cliffs are covered with shrubs and cactus.
There is access to the sea at El Puerto with a tiny pool and rocks but no beach. In the summer months you can swim in the ocean. It is worth a visit if only for the views along the cliffs and the coast.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos. There are walking paths along to Tijarafe, Las Tricias, Garafia, and El Tablado. A taxi will drop you at the Roque de Los Muchachos so that you can walk down to Puntagorda.
In January to March the hillsides of Puntagorda are covered in flowering almond trees. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
Puntagorda is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses and shops. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
